He trained in classical Homeopathic medicine in Bristol,then Bologna,Italy.He is a Homeopathic Physician at the Bristol Homeopathic Hospital in General and Paediatric medicine and specialist Cancer services.
He specialises in medical care 'individualised to the patient' successful in many disabling long-term conditions such as allergy,bowel disorders,migraine,and fatigue states.With an interest in managing long-term pain such as back pain and arthritis successfully,his integrated approach can be an important support in all stages of Cancer care.
He is Integrated Medical Director of the innovative Natural Health Practice at the Culm Valley Integrated Centre for Health in Devon-A collaborative project with the NHS.He has an active interest in research and ethics,and in helping patients develop their own 'self-help' strategies for healthier living.Dr Burton has wide experience with children and family medicine,and everyday mental health problems such as stress,anxiety,and depression.
